This is a rare antique 19th century or earlier handmade wood and iron cheese/pantry box.it is completely made by hand out of wood and is thick than most.its held together with iron nails and has an iron trim running around the top rim.there are also pieces of iron nailed underneath for support.the box measures 14 1/2 inches by 9 inches tall.it has worn from age and use and has a lovely patina from age.the iron is worn and missing in some places and has no ...lid.very rare piece.

buyer is responsible to file insurance claims via USPS, if package arrives broken or damaged, due to USPS's new policies the broken or damaged package has to be present when filing claims. If it is under 40$ and insurance is not requested from buyer, I will not be responsible to refund purchase for broken or lost item/items.
There will be no sales tax charged to cost of item, unless the buyer lives in, and/or is getting package shipped to a New Jersey address. Which will be a charge of 7% due to New Jersey state law.
