A very rare chance to obtain an ORIGINAL results / points sheet from the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games which I presume was produced for the media etc. The event was the Wo...men's 10 metre Platform Diving which took place on 13th August 1936.
The original owner was Jean Gilbert ( see below ) the British Diving star who competed at the Games and as per the points sheet finished in 7th place.
Obviously this meant a lot to Jean Gilbert and she has written to the back ' Official Points, Keep it Safe '.
There are the original fold creases and a couple of small tears to the top edge and a couple of old creases to the lower edge but otherwise just minor general ageing and in overall generally very good condition.
This originally belonged to Jean Gilbert the British Diving star who competed for Great Britain in the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games and who was favourite to win a Gold medal at the 1940 Games before World War II forced their cancellation. A collection of her items was sold in London at a major Sports Memorabilia sale and upon request I am happy to supply copies of my auction paperwork etc to winning bidders to act as provenance.
