HUGE DAMASK ANTIQUE VICTORIAN VALANCE FABRIC 11 Ft Long. I’ve purchased a box of antique textiles at antique auction; see my other auctions for more great finds.
This auction is for a huge burgundy valance with heavy trim and tassels plus one extra piece in the same fabric-
The fabric is what appears to be silk damask and it is energy lined in what appears to be silk. Fabric is sturdy and no rot or weak spots. There are worn places on top where it was nailed to the board. There... is one rip on seam that can be sewn together. I tried to show detail but it’s so huge and heavy- it’s hard to show all detail in 12 pictures.
The top measures 132”. On the sides it hangs down 30”. Trim adds additional 5” and the tassels are 11” tall and come down 40” from the top down. Additional valance piece measures about 38x38 and also has trim on it and it’s also lined.
It’s very heavy. I will ship for exact amount of shipping costs but estimate it would be $50-60. The valance is made of good quality fabric and it’s lined and interlinked.
