Item description: A George III large Sterling silver salt pot, with pierced decoration, an embossed beaded rim, And ball & claw shaped legs.The glass liner is a replacement and it is not an exact fit for the salt pot.Hallmarks: Hallmarked for Sheffield 1775. The makers mark is unclear.Dimensions: Length: 8.2 cms. Width: 6.4 cms. Height: 5 cms.Silver weight without glass liner: 37.4 Grams. ( Weight including glass liner: 139 Grams )Condition: There are splits on the seams of the silver... in two places, there is some mis-shaping and a couple of old repairs on two of the legs and on the bottom seam.
