Original Description:
This is a very nice original antique cast iron wall plaque or sign of a colonial style gentleman smoking. Whilst it looks similar to a lot of modern brass or other metal plaques in style, this clearly has a considerable age to it and appears from the wear and mortar on the reverse to have been attached to a wall. I wonder if it was outside an old tobacconist shop.
It measures about 14cm square and is very heavy.
It is a lovely piece and will make a good decorative item inside an...d out. I have not attempted to clean it.
