This wonderful Antique "BREAD" Bread Board has a diameter of approximately 24.5 cm and weighs around 389 grams.It would look wonderful in any Farmhouse Kitchenalia collection and may well be Victorian or Edwardian in origin.
It is in good vintage condition, with some signs of wear commensurate with age and use.This basically consists of some heat marks to the reverse-it may have been stood on a hot Range and used as a trivet-but this does not show at the front.There are the odd tiny... paint spots which should be easy to scrape off and a few areas of stickiness where price labels have been stuck.Any other marks are associated with the cutting of bread, and dings.The carved words are clear and readable.Please click on each photo to enlarge as these are the best description.
