A realistically carved and detailed autumnal themed antique brooch.Hand crafted from celluloid, the leaves, flowers and buds are expertly carved and sensitively dyed and tinted in subtle greens, oranges, creams and yellows, all are attached to wires soldered to a bar on the back of the brooch in an attractive arrangement.Two of the flowers/buds are missing plus there is damage to a petal on one of the white flowers, the remainder of the leaves and flowers are intact and detailed and th...e colours though undoubtedly faded are still strong, in addition there is wear to the brass work on the brooch - however overall the brooch is in good condition and I feel has great appeal.
