BEAUTIFUL 19th CENTURY FINE LINEN BOBBIN LACE, BINCHE OR VALENCIENNES 350 ... Click images to enlarge Description This is a beautiful small piece of hand made bobbin lace dating to the early 19th century, possibly a bit earlier, I'm not an expert in lace identification. The design is really dainty, the ecru linen thread used very fine and delicate, I think this is Binche or Valenciennes lace.It measures 17" by 1.25" or 43 cms by 3 cms. The condition is quite good with some breaks, and wear in places, see photos. A interesting piece for a collection of lace. Thank you for looking.
