The plate has very nicely drawn designs of precious objects in the cavetto and a little boy playing in the central medallion. The color is that nice Kangxi blue. The plate has an old label from Cleij (a renowned Belgian dealer for Asian art) on the back. MEASUREMENTS 8 7/8” (22.5 cm) diameter x 1 1/8” (2.9 cm) diameter. Weighs 10.6 oz (305 g) CONDITION There is a rim chip on the underside of the lip at extends into a hairline crack. Near this chip i...s another smaller chip. There are kiln flaws, such as bumps, black spots and reserve pits. There is wear to the central well. The plate still looks bright for the age.
