Group of 3 antique Chinese Qing Dynasty bronze Imperial Robe buttons. Each of these buttons has a different design. The largest is a drop button, with a scalloped top piece of a beautifully designed flower. Underneath is a ball charm. The other two are loop buttons. One has a geometric pattern. The other, with an exquisite standing bird, is hallmarked. These buttons are among a group of pieces representing the finest Chinese ...silver workfrom the Qing Dynasty. When the Communists came in, all jewelry andartifacts were confiscated from the citizenry by the government and stored inwarehouses. In the 1970's, the government started selling the stock toselect dealers. This piece and others were purchased 35 years ago fromsome of the first traders who were allowed to buy this preciouswork.
I travel frequently between San Francisco and Amsterdam, Netherlands, soitem will be sent from wherever I am when the auction closes. Nevertheless, the shipping cost is the same.
