This piece of equipment was removed from a studio after the tray eject mechanism failed and no longer opened and closed the tray properly
It sounds like the eject motor runs when the button is pushed, however, perhaps the rubber band that connects the motor to the tray cracked and then broke with age
We don't have any experience working on this vintage of equipment and don't want to... unintentionally damage anything on this rare piece of equipment, so we are selling the EV-S900 AS-IS for Parts or Repair
Our understanding is the EV-S900 was otherwise working properly when it was removed, though it has been sitting a number of months since then, so the unit may require additional work too to get it back to fully operational condition
