What a rare find! This sweet Milly Doll, "Ben" was designed by Marie-Luise Schulz. He was produced in Spain in 2001 by White Balloon. The company made very lovely artist dolls but went out of business in the economic crash of 2009.
Ben has a soft cloth body with partial vinyl arms and legs. His head is vinyl with rooted hair and painted features.His clothing is well-made, particularly note his shoes. He originally sold for $67.99 in 2001. Milly dolls were very popular in Euro...pe, particularly in the UK. They are more difficult to find in the US.
