Very attractive pewter bowl with Chinese hallmark. 3-lobe shape with leaves-flower-vines decor. Art Nouveau in style, has an "etched" look to it but the design stands out in slight relief. I have seen other bowls with the same type of decoration (different flowers) and think this must have a specific name for the type of pewter work. I, however, do not know that name. ;) Perhaps you do!
Unsure of age, would guess 1920's but Asian antiques and collectibles are... not my area of expertise. Measures 7" diameter by just over 2" deep. Good condition - shows age and use. A few light dents that you can feel rather than see, but no damage.
I did not clean or polish this piece - it has darkened spots scattered overall, but that's pewter for ya.
A neat piece - great addition to your collection or a really nice gift!
