Originally designed to catch and reflect the candlelight of Victorian Christmas trees, fancy indented shape ornaments like our interesting Twirled Indent Halved Ball from the early 1900s were produced in Poland or Germany. Very old mouth blown glass is very thin and characteristically light in weight. Colors often are faded but our ornament has retained both its vibrant colors and the interior silvering remarkably well....The ornament is in outstanding shape regarding its age.
