Very young and beautiful, legendary June Palmer, posing next to an Elva sports car. Taken at the very beginning of June's career as a model. A rare, original, one of a kind photo. Excellent condition, no defects. Image is nice and clear with no deterioration. A rare find for the serious collector of June's material.From June's own personal collection from her Estate.
June was famous Worldwide and was recognized and admired for her amazing perfect hour glass figure. Her Ca...reer started when she was in her teens, (not long out of High School). She was a dancer in her early teens and carried through with that into her early 20's. This was a great asset to her amazing posing as a nude/glamour model. June modeled for famous Photographers, such as George Harrison Marks, whom she became great Friends with, George Sigmund, Irv Carsten, Ed Alexander (all of which were from the U.S). Ken Williams, Ed Alexander, Brian Scott, Max Le Grande, Russell Gay and many more. She not only appeared in numerous magazines around the World, but was also an Actress and had various parts on General Circuit Films. She was a favourite Model at the Earls Court Motor Shows. June was hired to do record album sleeves, CD covers, Novel covers, Calenders, she did many promotional advertisements for catalogues for Commercial Companies. June was married in the early 1960's to Photographer/Stuntman Arthur Howell. They opened up thier own Studio called 'The Strobe' in St. John's Hill Clapham Junction. It was here that June started her own Model Agency and became very successful with it. June had some of the best Models in the business on her books. Her Career lasted well into the 1970's, until she re-married and retired. At 63 June passed away from Cancer. Her memory lives on from the Collectors of her material from the last 50 years plus.
