DESCRIPTIONA vintage 20th century Yixing teapot , made to look like a leather bag. It truly is a masterpiece and surely by a famous potter ? It is signed on the base, underneath the handle and twice inside the lid. The workmanship is some of the best I have seen - even down to the contrasting stitching around the base which lets not forget is made in clay just as the rest of the teapot is. You would believe it was actual cord. Measures 3.25"/8.3cm high.
