Kangxi Period Chinese Imari PlateEarly 18th C. Qing Dynasty.
Condition: Rim frit, glaze hairlineon reverse, hairlines on rim, otherwise in excellent condition consistent withage and usage. – see photos.

Kangxi Period, 1700 to 1722.
The plate with a flat everted rim isdecorated with well spaced blossoming floral elements in underglaze blue, ironred, and gilt highlights. The center of the bowl is similarly decoratedillustrating a ga...rden scene of rocky outcroppings accompanied by a bamboo treeand with large Chrysanthemum and additional flowers. The porcelain is ofa pleasing milky white tone.
