Up for bid is this vintage GOLD COIN MINE sterlingsilver spoon from VICTOR, COLO. This little spoon has the picture of the GoldCoin Mine Building in the bowl of the spoon. It is marked Sterling on the backand has the initials A. E. W. on the top of the handle. It is 5 inches long andweighs 8 grams. It is in excellent condition with no issues with its originalpatina. I mention and show everything for accuracy.The famous Gold Coin Mine was part of the Woods FamilyMining Empire that found...ed Victor, they ran the mine from 1895 to around 1905, when it was sold to the Granite Gold Mining Co. It was even visited by TeddyRoosevelt, Vice-President at the time where he personally mined $500 worth ofGold Ore which was presented to him as a gift in 1901.E-Mail me with any questions before you bid.
