I've been collecting for over 55 years and it is now time to let most of my personal collection go. This uniforms was acquired many years ago. I am listing these items as collectibles. As such, the only size information given in the description are those marked on the items. The photos really tell the whole story so please review them carefully. Shipping costs shown are for domestic delivery only. Overseas shi...pping will be quite a bit more. I use the eBay Global Shipping Program and overseas shipping costs will be included with the invoice.Offered here is an original WW2 Japanese Army tropical combat uniform group consisting of a cotton jacket, cotton trousers, a cotton cap and pair of puttees. All of these items are vet bring back and were acquired as a group in the U.S. Unusual to find a complete and matching Japanese combat uniform group. Please make no mistake, this is really a been there uniform group so the items show wear from field use.The group is as follows:(1) Uniform Jacket: The uniform jacket is a standard four pocket khaki cotton enlisted man's coat. It has been issued and well worn. The buttons are hard brown plastic and all are present. It does not appear that any rank insignia was ever mounted on the collar. The inside is unlined. The khaki fabric is faded, soiled and worn from use. There are some stains, soiling and a little fraying along the bottom of the jacket, the neck and on the cuffs. There are no holes, tears or field repairs that I can see. The inside of the jacket has stamped markings. This jacket has a distinctive button flap under each arm - not sure what that was about - ventilation perhaps? Also, the belt holder loop is present on the back of the jacket.
(2) Enlisted Uniform Cap: The enlisted cap is made of heavy khaki linen/cotton. The cap has been well worn and has some soiling and minor fraying in places. The cap has a sewn on fabric chinstrap. The cap is unlined but has a reinforced fabric sweatband. There are no markings in the cap that I can find. The cap has been used and does have some soiling, a few small stains and some very slight fraying. There is a yellow wool star insignia sewn to the front of the cap. The cap has three sewn grommets on either side and two in the back and a cotton tie cord. There are small sewn eyelets on both sides of the cap - these are for the neck flap I believe. The chinstrap is leather and affixed to the cap with two brass buttons.(3) Trousers: The khaki cotton enlisted trousers are a slightly lighter shade of khaki than the jacket. They have been well used. Besides some soiling and wear, there are no damages that I can see. The trousers are button fly and have two button pockets in the back. The seat of the trousers is reinforced. The pant legs are straight to accommodate puttees. The webbed fabric waist ties are present The trousers are partially lined in khaki cotton. The fabric has some soiling and minoring staining from field use. The trousers are stamp marked inside.(4) Puttees: The puttees are made of khaki brown wool with webbed fabric ties. The puttees are matching and both have a tag sewn on them (name?). They are in used but very good condition.I only use PayPal for payment unless other arrangements are made before you bid.
