This antique cast-iron door knocker is unique in its design. It it is a white colored urn shape highlighted in light blue at the top and bottom. There are raised designed in as well giving it more style & dimension. The back piece is a spray of green leaves. This back piece holds the door knocker in place as there are two screw holes. The hinge also connected at this point to hold the movable knocker. The knocker strikes a bar on t...he leaf plate protecting the door. This delightful antique cast iron door knocker has the original paint. There are signs of surface rust which is commensurate with pieces of this age. The knocker is approximately 5" x 5". Please look at the last picture with three rulers as a reference to size.
