Here we offer a Victorian silver plate lady's vanity mirror ca 1880-1900. Deep repousse' work forms a detailed pond scene with floating lilies and lily pads, cattails and shell & scroll motifs, tried to show the depth of the work in the pics. I was sure this was sterling when I first saw it, but it is one of the nicest plated ones I have ever seen. Measures approx 10" x 5.5" and in good condition, some slight tarnish and other expected signs of age and use ...after 100+ years, on the bottom/mirror side there is some wear to the high spots where it rests on a table, the beveled mirror insert is a bit loose and is held in place with some clear tape, no dents, breaks or other damage. Beautiful heavy Victorian piece marked only "quadruple plate".
