Adorable antique Steiff or Schuco mohair straw stuffed donkey.
This poor old boy requires some serious TLC.Little bit of tail hair left which would help with restoration of his tail and mane.
Lovely and original black glass or ceramic boot button eyes.Internal metal wires down each leg which form a loop at the bottom of each hoof ~ most likely originally attached to a pull along frame.Donkey measures 25cms in height (would stand taller if his legs were in the correct position) an...d 38cms in length.A beautiful old boy with lots of charm ~ the original Wonky Donkey!
