This is a great, rare, late World War II United States Marine Corps fighter squadron VMF-311 flight jacket patch (5" diameter) The patch reads FIGHTING 311 HELL'S BELLES and shows a nude female warrior leaping from the wing of a fire-breathing aircraft. Circa late World War II. Fully-embroidered blue patch in multi-colored silk/cotton threads. Patch shows virtually no wear.This is from a  private United States Military collection for 27 years.
