DescriptionCharming young boy and goose figurine. Made in the early 20th Century in Germany (possibly by Schafer and Vater).Not marked but guaranteed to be an early and original piece (base photographed).Would have originally had a semi-circular mirror set into the base, which enabled a cheeky view up the skirt.There are some tiny chips to the beaks of the chicks in the boy's sack and some light rubs to the gilded paintwork, here and there, commensurate with age (can be seen ...in photographs). Otherwise, it is in good condition with no other chips, cracks or restoration.It measures approximately 5½" in height.Service
