A moulded porcelain figure of the monk Budai - depicted seated and clutching his robe in the right hand.
The figure is finished in hand painted polychrome enamels and gilt - this example is bisque finished to the areas of exposed skin, creating a textured contrast to the painted enamels.
The base is impressed with the Chinese character seal mark.
Height - 3 1/4" (83mm).
Weight - 114 grams.
The overall condition is Very Good. No cracks or... chips. No repairs.
