Here’s a rarity for collectors of radio station memorabilia. A 1958 program manager award from RCA Victor. It’s a real 45 rpm record painted silver mounted in a frame. It’s the single “Patricia” which was a #1 hit for Cuban mambo star Perez “Prez” Prado. It originally came with a card thanking program director Jack Shefrin, of radio station KMPC in Bakersfield, California, for making Patricia #1 in the country. The card has since been lost.
