Original Description:
A very very rare Chinese iron vessel, with silver and gold damascened decoration. 
Seal mark for Qianlong but Qing period.
Heavy for size
It is very much in the Japanese Koftgari style although of Chinese origin.
Decoration shows flowers and a vase portrayed within banded borders.
Height 13cms.Diameter 6 cms.Weight 658 g

Siegelmarke in Silbertauschierung am Boden: „Da Qing Qianlong nian zhi“. Geschmiedet und in Silbertauschierung dekoriert mit einem Mäanderband um die Mündung, gefolgt von einem Rankenband, einem breiten Band aus stilisierten Geldmünzen und einem Dekorband aus Blattspitzen. H: 12, 8 cm; D: 10 cm. (BA)
