Weare offering for your consideration an exquisite, silver plated, teapot manufacturedby Simpson, Hall, Miller & Company located in Wallingford, Connecticut in1866. An early piece with an early pattern number, “1899.” The teapot measures11.50 inches high and 9 inches wide from handle to spout. A special antiquepiece decorated with floral and geometric designs on the front and back and alovely floral decorated band along the top rim. An ornate and flowing handleand spout add... a handsome appeal to the teapot. An ornate finial tops the domedcover. The piece rest upon four, ornately decorated feet keeping it off of thesurface it is placed upon preventing moisture and heat marks. There is slightwear on the inside bottom of the pot but nothing that would not be considered ageappropriate and will not affect its use. The outside has a great silvery shine.An exceptional piece that is in EXCELLENTREADY TO USE ESTATE CONDITION. Thereare no repairs, flaking or major silver wear to note.
