VINTAGE GURLEY CHRISTMAS CANDLES. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
This is a set of 15 vintage Gurley Candles- There are 2 churches , 4 angels, baby Jesus in manger, mary, joseph, 2 sheep, and what looks like a dog (could be some type of cattle though). also appears to be a wiseman. he may be a shepherd though since there is only one and sheep included. he also is not carrying a gift, so likely is the shepherd, but no staff. There are also 2 angels slee...ping on a crescent moon that likely are a separate set than the nativity.
They range is sizes from 1 1/4" wide/high to 4 1/2" with the churches being the highest. The churches still have the Gurley Candle Co 15 cent label on the bottom, but none of the other ones do. The are only a few with the actual wicks in them. none have been burned. the candles have a small hole in the bottom and top to insert your own wick if desired. I believe this is the design because they are more of a decorative item than to burn. All are in good condition. some have small discolored spots that could easily be wiped off.
