Antique Bronzed Cast Iron 1869 Building House Number Address Number Great Year - of - Build Indicator Plaque
Very nice old architectural treasure.Solid cast iron with a darkened and hammered inset around the numbers.Raised outer edges and numbers plated in rich bronze.Numbers are 1-1/2" tall.
Measures 14" long across the top, 15-1/8" long across back bottom.5/16" thick iron.No maker's mark.Light surface corrosion, pits, etc.
Could mount above doorway or window ...- has slots for screws and one securing nail hole.Could be used as a year designation in a special antique display, etc.
