Included is an original Kenner prototype dip mold. This was acquired directly from a former employee of the company. This was used at Kenner when creating the original vintage product. The dip mold was made of aluminum and would have been used when making the outer latex skin for the product. ...It was used when dipping the mold into the hot latex so the skin could be formed around the mold. The latex skin would have cooled and then peeled off the mold to create the final production skin. Extraordinarily rare, dip molds for the vintage Stretch Armstrong line are extremely difficult to find. This is the actual prototype mold that was used at Kenner when making the original Serpent line. Very few of these dip molds have survived. Never intended for sale. Please view the photos for exact condition. Very rare, original Kenner items never surface on the market making this highly sought after by intent collectors. Amazing display ability. Only what is in the photos is available for auction.
