Up for sale is an authentic Hasbro Optimus Prime straight out of 1984. This has to be my favorite Transformer ever made. Who doesn't love Optimus Prime, the leader of all the Autobots. Seen in just about every Transformer movie, Optimus strikes fear in the heart of those evil Decepticons! This set is very cool as Optimus Prime transforms into a semi truck and was one of the first ever made by Hasbro. His trailer opens up and turns into a command center and... has many neat functions including Optimus's roller cart that comes out of the back. This definitely brings back memories as kids growing up with these.
This is an authentic Optimus Prime still new and sealed. Arguably the most collectible of all the Transformers! It has been graded by AFA and got a 50/80/85. Box got a 50, window got an 80 and the figure got an 85. No reason to look elsewhere as you know this is 100% authentic as AFA doesn't grade fakes. The case also has the special UV upgrade so you won't have to worry about this item ever getting damaged by sun or UV rays. You will notice it has the original bag from AFA over the case as well which has never been opened. Even the case hasn't been touched! It will stay as it is forever! Doesn't get any better that this! ;)
Get this set while you can as it won't be here long, especially in this condition! A true dream for those collectors out there and for those that just want the memory of some of their favorite toys as a kid. A great addition to your Transformer collection!
*Warning* I am fully aware there are fraudulent sellers on here that have been taking my pictures and using them to list fake sets that don't exist. Just be careful and make sure you see my name (milehi-lego) with my feedback before bidding on a set you want. I know many of my followers are used to seeing my table where I take my pics so don't be taken in by these fake listings. If you see these listings with my pics and you buy it I guarantee you will be filing a claim and have unneeded heartache. I have been reporting these to eBay but they honestly don't seem to move too quickly on getting them removed. I just don't want to see anyone get taken in and get scammed. It's like the saying goes. A little about me: I am a huge collector of Lego and am selling off a good portion of it. Please check out my other listings as I will be selling many rare retired sets out of my collection. Most of my sets are extremely rare and collectible. Many of my sets I have fixed up and spent a great deal of time making nice again if they weren't already. My collection mostly consists of UCS, modulars, trains, sculptures, rare minifigures and other very rare retired sets.
Integrity: Although all of my used sets should be 100% complete I will list them at 99.9% as Legos just get lost and I am human. With that being said if you find some missing pieces or whatever I will make it right with you. Please message me with any problems you might find and I will work it out with you. Also, please don't assume anything about an item. If you have questions or want more pics just ask. I will get back to you as soon as I can. Shipping: I try to charge exactly what it costs me to ship these sets. Shipping these retired sets is time consuming and expensive, especially with insurance. I don't mess around when it comes to shipping these. I have much experience with getting these shipped out and to you the exact way they left. I spare no expense in shipping materials (which I don't charge for) and you can rest assured these will be shipped very well. Most times I will not combine shipping unless it makes sense to do so. These sets are mostly very large and when I put 2 together it can damage the other set. I will combine though if I feel like I can do it in a safe manner. I insure all of these sets and require signature confirmation. No exceptions unless you give me written consent. I want these sets to get to you as much as you want them as these are very expensive and collectible. If it's a PO Box I will need written consent before I ship it as most of my sets will not fit so please be aware of that. Buyer is responsible for all duties, taxes, fees etc. I will ship within 3 days of purchase but will usually get it out ASAP.
International Shipping: I will offer international shipping but please understand you will have to pay what it costs to ship it to you. The shipping cost you see is just an estimate. The cost to ship of course depends on where you live. If you win a set I will send you a separate invoice for the shipping cost. I will not use the GSP program as it is very costly for the buyer. I understand that and will go the extra mile to save you $ to get it to you. I will only charge you what it costs me and nothing more. Buyer is responsible for all duties, taxes, fees etc. I will only ship to a verified Paypal address. If it's a PO Box I will need written consent before I ship it as most of my sets will not fit so please be aware of that. I won't ship anything out until I have a phone number where you can be reached at as most shipping companies require that anyway.
Payment: I expect payment within 48 (2 days) hours of the sale. I will not ship anything that isn't fully paid for. If you don't have the money or don't plan on paying please don't bid on the item and save us both some unneeded heart ache. I only accept Paypal!

I wish AFA would list these details on their stickers inside but from my research it sounds like all 1984 boxes were pre-rub that have the "R" on the box. If it had "TM" it could possibly be a metal plates (bloated) Optimus but this box does have the "R" on it. Any 1985 Optimus would have the rub sign on the top of the cab which this one is not.
