I will be listing more than two dozen items between November 19 and November 22. These will be rare and unusual Kenner items from the 1980's, mostly Star Wars prototype items, but including others such as Super Heroes and Strawberry Shortcake. There will be waxes, first shots, hard copies, and other scarce things. Everything starts at $0.99 without reserve and everything ships free in the U.S. ! International shipping is offered at cost.
All of the items ...I will be listing came directly from Kenner in Cincinnati, and all have been in my possession since the 1980's when I worked there. They have not been offered before, and everything is guaranteed genuine.
This auction is for one Kenner LANDO SKIFF GUARD character as shown in the photos. This is a pre-production prototype referred to as a "First Shot". These were made for internal use at Kenner for testing and evaluation prior to commencing a full production run. They are scarce because of the limited numbers, and desirable collectables because they are the first pieces out of fresh molds, so detail is crisp. In most cases, "First Shots" were not made in the same color plastic as the production runs, simply because the factories ran whatever plastic was already in their machines. Changing colors was considered an unnecessary expense.
