Original Ping Redwood City Model III A putter. The first Ping mallet putter. The Redwood City mallet putters are much more scarce compared to the 1A styles as they came into existence towards the latter end of the Redwood City era just before the move to AZ. This one is in normal condition with dark patina.Has the number 17 stamped on the sole as part of Karsten’s sorting method. Has the original shaft bent by Karsten with a few wear spots from use Original white informer grip is the...re with wear through exposure of he butt end of the shaft showing. Very scarce one to add to the collection.
