1929 Chicago Cubs World Series Pennant. The Cubbies had some real fire power in '29 with the prodigious lumber of Rogers Hornsby, Hack Wilson, Kiki Cuyler, Gabby Hartnett, and Riggs Stephenson on display. Unfortunately, Mack's men were too much. Striking blue pennant with a touch of "vintage grey" is offset by white tassels and graphics. Wonderful illustration of a catcher in profile and "Souvenir Cubs World Series, Chicago 1929." Very goo...d condition. Sharp body lines, clear graphics. A few imperfections - the tassels and edge-strip have collected dust and debris, there is a single hole near the tip - do little to draw away from the allure of this fantastic rarity among rarities. (please see photographs for details on condition).Measures approx 23.25" in length.PROVENANCE:The Robert A.
