CHINESE BLANC DE CHINE ...PORCELAIN FIGURE OF A SEATED MONKEY, REPUBLIC PERIOD Description This is a Chinese blanc de chine porcelain figure of a seated monkey with open mouth, holding a peach in his right hand, a vase on rockwork to his left and with decorated eyes of black pupils and yellow surround. On a cut disc of tree trunk style base.
Republic period.
Height 6 in (15 cm).
