I bought this beautiful piece of RC and Hobie history last year. I’m selling it because I don’t have the time to do this hawk justice.
The kit was incomplete last year and I’ve since found most of the small hardware that was missing and purchased two canopies that still need to be trimmed. The manual is available online and a healthy community of enthusiasts maintain a cast knowledge database.
I’m not certain what vintage or run this aircraft came from but the previous ...owner told me had inherited it years ago. The metallic green paint job is beautiful without chips or scratches. It looks fabulous in person. The wings are unfinished and have never been covered. The leading edge has not been sanded round, an indication that this pair of wings and tails has never been flown.I’m happy to show interested buyers the plane in person (Southern California) to see what a great model this is.
