VERY RARE CRAGSTAN TIN BATTERY OPERATED RCA-NBC COLOR TRUCK ABSOLUTELY MINT CONDITION!
A spectacular working tin toy truck with its' box that would be the envy in any collection! Cameraman moves as it should revolving in either direction with the film.As one can see NO rust anywhere, even the battery compartment where most are really destroyed by scratches and rust! See Pics. Even latch for door locks the batteries inside securely.The bottom is clean, no scratches. see Pic...s.There are some light scuffs on the rear bumper, but these are so very slight, probably from its' box rubbing on the corners.Talking of the box; its' included with the $2.98 price tag in black marker showing on the lid.This box is a copy of the original box, it is not its' original box, but I have added the box to complete this awesome truck that you will receive. Better a box than NO box at all. Remember this was produced in 1957. The box is very difficult to come by in fine condition.
This toy works flawlessly, as it should, watching the parade go forward or in reverse. The other lever propels the truck forward; still with the parade revolving on the screen.You can even change the direction of the truck by placing the lever on the bottom of the truck in 3 separate positions; left, right or straight.The only reason I am selling this item is I already have one just like it. Don't need two!Same characters in the parade in both NBC/RCA trucks, no differences, exact characters in the same sequence. Clowns, elephant, jugglers etc.
You will rarely see this toy in this superb MINT condition; but I just need one not two of them in my tin toy collection.This is the finest item I have ever had for sale on Ebay. It is just that this toy is so MINT in its' presentation.Just takes two fresh "D" batteries for this toy to function.
Again, to obtain this toy and its' box in this superb condition is extremely scarce to find especially from its' year of production of 1957.
