This is a vintage all original 1953 J.C. Higgins 'COLORFLOW' Men's Tank Bicycle. The paint is original to the bike, and still retains much of the original luster. The 'all-state' white-wall tires, peddles, handle-bars, grips, troxel seat, and the famous 'bat-wing' twin head light are all original! The jewels to the tank were loose and broken and ultimately thrown out, but even the 'Registered With Pinkertons' label is still present. We think this bike must have ...been a 'Deluxe' version back in the day. The bike was found in a dry cellar in central New York, and will be sold as found. Beautiful bike that will need a modest amount of restoration! We are offering this rare bike with NO RESERVE, and buyer will pay shipping.
