A vintage 1930s / 1940s Chinese silk piano shawl with floral embroidery to one corner.In a soft orange silk with deep fringe and embroidery in shades of pink and green.The size is approximately 40 inches / 101 cms square excluding fringe.The overall condition is good, there is a small hole (picture 9) and a tiny area of thinning to the silk (only seen when held up to the light), a few light marks and minor losses to the fringe which does need detangling.A family shawl which has been ca...refully stored for many years and now looking for a new home.Fully wearable as it is and very pretty.
