Up for auction is a very rare Montblanc Meisterstuck “Agatha Christie” Writers Edition, Limited Edition Fountain Pen. The pen is number 9359/30000.
As the factory brochure states, “This pen is modeled after a Montblanc fountain pen from 1920, the year of her first novel, “The Mysterious Affair at Styles” was published. The Montblanc Meisterstuck Agatha Christie features black Montblanc precious resin, .925 sterling silver and genuine rubis. &...nbsp;The cap of each fountain pen is adorned with a clip in the form of a snake and engraved with Agatha Christie’s original signature”.
The pen, to the best of my knowledge shows no sign of use. It is like new with no visible signs of wear or blemishes.
The pen measures about 5 1/2” in length.Details:- The screw on cap is marked with “Agatha Christie”.- The Clip Band is in the form of a snake, complete with red ruby eyes. It is marked 925, indicating Sterling Silver. Just below this band, is the number 9359/30000, indicating the number in the limited series.- The band at the bottom of the screw on cap is marked ‘Montblanc Meisterstuck Edition’- The Nib is without flaws and is engraved with a snakes head, and marked ‘4810, 18K, Montblanc, 750’.- The pen has the original sticker that is marked “F Germany” (see pics)- The Nib is without flaws and is engraved with a snakes head
