Bulb. treschii‘Bill Thoms’ x selfUpfor auction is a flask of this absolutely incredible and rare Bulbophyllumspecies from Borneo. This plant was given to me by Bill Thoms many years agoand is truly something special...have never seen another like it. This plant is incredibly floriferous floweringover a half dozen times per year on a 4-5 growth plant. The flowers aremagnificent and are a very deep merlot coloration with heavy textured petalsthat hang about 10” in length. This spec...ies remains fairly compact and is atrue masterpiece. This is a truly rare species and the vast majority that I have seen imported in the last 10 years have been for the most part inaccurate and generally bloom out as Bulb. plumatum...I have been able to acquire a few other species that I believe are accurate but none compare to the quality of this plant. If you are a collector of the best Bulbophyllum species, these are a must for your collection. The flask up for auction is packedwith 20-25++ very nice plantlet that are ready to be potted. These seedlings haveexcellent roots and have been very vigorous.
