This is a very unique opportunity to purchase a very unique and rare Chelsea clock at an extremely affordable and very fair price for a time piece of this condition, originality and quality.  The cost of a total restoration of an unknown entity would easily exceed my sale price! As the original owner of this clock, it is with utmost confidence that I offer it for sale.  If it were not for the fact that we will be relocating to a higher humidity,  mountain snowy ...;environment early next year, it would not be for sale.    After spending a lot of money to bring the clock back up to truly "as new" condition, with no expense spared, it is time to find it a good home!First introduced in 1976, this 4-1/2" wall-mount model has a beautiful satin, silver metallic etched Roman numeral dial, uses the Chelsea "House Strike" movement, that rings 1 bell at 1 o'clock, 2 bells at 2 o'clock, and so on, striking once at each half hour.  It is housed in a brushed, satin finished Solid Brass Case.  We direct wall-mounted the clock over a mantle, but it can be mounted to a back plaque or in a base if desired.  Both are available on line.As with all fine Chelsea clocks, the volume and tone of the chime can be tuned to the acoustic environment in which it is housed.  The clock can also be calibrated by exterior dial to adjust to the local environment.  Once set, it maintains quite accurate time.Based upon the serial number 802626, the Chelsea records showed that the clock was first sold to Curt Wagner, Inc., on 4/25/1980, the dealer from whom I purchased the clock as a special order.Please do not hesitate to contact me via E-Bay with any questions or for any clarifications.  I am including free shipping to anywhere in the Continental U.S. via UPS ground!  The listing shows local pick-up only, because I ship directly via UPS.
