Set immediately after the events of Friday The 13th Part 2 the plot follows a teenage girl and her friends at a house on Crystal Lake, whe...re a wounded Jason Voorhees has taken refuge. The film marks the debut of Voorhees wearing his signature hockey mask, which has become a trademark of both the character and the franchise.
Part III was theatrically released in 3D, and is the only film in the series to be released in that format.
