Just in time for the Holidays, we have decided that its time to let go of one of our favorites- "Genesis"
If you have ever wanted to collect this piece, but couldn't afford the exorbitant current gallery price, this is your chance to own it.
This lovely and very popular piece by World's Most Awarded Photographer, Peter Lik, is available in the classic 1.5 Meter Panoramic Size. The actual image size is roughly 59 by 19 inches with an ...additional border at lengths edge for ease of framing. This classic nearly sold out piece was taken in Hana, Hawaii on the island of Maui and would be potentially six feet when framed! This is one of Peter Lik's most iconic, top selling pieces and we are ready to see it go to someone that will frame and enjoy it.
The piece is not signed and was originally developed to be used as a display but went virtually untouched for years."Genesis" is also unnumbered thus reflecting the heavily discounted price. This also makes this piece considerably less expensive than the current gallery price. "Genesis" was printed and developed on either ( not too sure but the quality is fabulous) Ilfochrome or Cibachrome. This was the Original high quality printing material that Peter Lik would develop with before investing and building his own printing facility in Las Vegas. There is no Certificate of Authenticity to come with the piece but you can google search and also see images of "Genesis"available on Lik.com, Peter Lik's Gallery website.
There are several quarter inch creases on the far left sides of the piece, in the clouds and numerous creases on the outer one inch framing border of the piece. These would be virtually invisible after framing. It's actually really difficult to tell from the images but I tried to show any imperfections as best as the photo would allow. There is some light scuffing/splotching in a darker corner of the piece but no scratches, folds, major creases or tears. This striking piece is otherwise in good condition.
The Art will come Unframed and in a Tube so that you may frame it as you wish. Please NOTE that I highly recommend having this piece framed only by a Licensed and Skilled Framer that is familiar with working with Art of this scale and medium.
