Though a mintage of 4, 000 (per AE) would suggest that plenty of the 5 T. oz Engelhards would exist..the Engelhard Enthusiasts (like myself) knows better...This particular beauty was purchased several years back from a "Old Time Dealer" in Gatineau, Canada....Initially, I was going to pass on the purchase until I noticed the unique anomaly on the reverse!! A partial number can be plainly be seen on the reverse...Quite possibly, from ""stacking" these Ing...ots during the cooling process which led to the imprint??
