Extremely Rare 1860 Stereoview Aftermath Of Baseball Game Between Potomac Baseball Club and Excelsiors of Baltimore / came with a group of 1859 (dated) and 1860 stereoviews from a recent estate sale / research established the exact date of the game as June 6th, 1860 in Washington, D.C. / The Excelsiors emerged victorious with a score of 40 to 24 / the Potomac Club was comprised of government workers organized in the Fall of 1859, the previous year / period ink inscription on reverse re...ads "taken after __xth game between the Potomac Base Ball Club of Washington and Excelsior Club of Balt. in which the latter were successful. to Wm. F.
