Original 1945 World Series Chicago Cubs Vintage Pinback Button. Light green celluloid button is approx 1.5" in diameter and features a familiar image of the period, two cubs w/ bats slung along over their shoulders, exhibiting fine sportsmanship with a friendly handshake.Condition is good to very good. Type is large and clear with excellent contrast. A few imperfections common to buttons of this vintage; discoloration and brown spotting, a scratch to the surface, approx 0.5" beginning ...just above the letter "C" in Chicago to the midsection of the bear on the left; back is rusted but in good form, free of any apparent dents.
