EXTREMELY RARE EARLY 1900'S TY COBB TIGERS BASEBALL GERMAN BISQUE BOBBLE NODDER. German Bisque nodders became popular during the 19th Century and continued up through the early part of the 1900's. Offered here is one of only a few discovered Early 1900's Bobble Head Nodders to have a baseball theme to them, with this example mimicking the greatest player of the day, Ty Cobb. Stands approximately 6" tall with no cracks or chips, just some light soiling and ag...ing. Features a comedic, yet menacing expression at the same time, on his face. Clad in Victorian style collared uniform and brandishing bat, the base of the nodder reads "TY COBB" and is impressed into the mold during production. Code numbers on neck of nodder read "I 88".
