RARE B & O Railroad PEDESTAL EGG CUP Centenary China

This is a rare B&O railroad pedestal egg cup from the centenary china produced by Lamberton Scammell. The shape is also referred to as the Belvidere form. It measures 4" high by 3-1/2" in diameter across the cup, and was intended for boiled eggs. This shape was not produced for long and was replaced by the smaller footed egg cup.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are no cracks or chips. There is no crazing. There are no glaze skips or flea bites. There is one sma...ll glaze pop smaller than the head of a pin in the neck of the pedestal; I felt it before I saw it, and the camera can't even pick it up. There are no signs of use that I can see--no utensil scratches or glaze scuffs. The transfer pattern is a deep cobalt blue with little blurring. Please see the photos for close-up images of the quality of this pattern.
Note that this piece is level and flat! The angle in the photos is just from the camera position.
